June 2, 2026 – We didn’t really mean to do it today, but preparation for the upcoming upgrade went badly, so we went ahead and implemented a large upgrade of the email system including bringing base OS images up. This adds increased security and we have introduced several new features as well.
Some features are “behind the scenes”, but two of the most visible features are the additions of CardDAV and CalDAV. These are protocols for Contacts and Calendars respectively using the WebDAV protocol. Users can now have their mobile devices and computer application’s contacts & calendars synchronized with the contacts and calendars in webmail.

If you are an Outlook user, you can use https://caldavsynchronizer.org/ to setup online calendars which can sync to multiple users. It will also sync Contacts. Mozilla Thunderbird supports CardDAV and CalDAV without third party add-ons. Contact us for help if you are wanting to use this feature and are having trouble. The username and passwords will be the same as your email account.
Unfortunately, we are seeing some performance issues with the new update. We are still trying to work those out, but email is being delivered properly. If you are seeing slow performance using the webmail, we do recommend trying a desktop email client like Outlook (not the new one) or Thunderbird.
